“Nicole was an all star host, in a wonderland getaway property. If you enjoy nature, this is perfect. We got in later than expected, but Nicole was welcoming and accommodating. There conveniently was beer and wine for sale. Pools were well kept and clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. I can’t rave enough about this hidden gem. I hope to return. Chegamos à república Dominicana e fomos conhecer Altos de Chavon. Imitação de um Aldeia mediterrânea feita em 7 anos por diferentes artistas, arquitetos, etc. Ao todo 500. No anfiteatro já se apresentaram os principais artistas (Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, etc). Foi inaugurado por Frank Sinatra. No rio Chavon e redondezas já foram feitos filmes, ou parte deles, como Apocalipse Now, Anaconda e outros. Tem fontes, uma igreja, um Museu arqueológico, escolas de arte e design, o Museu de Amber, lojinhas, bares e restaurantes.
